A. Mongolia Ship Registry Authorised Surveyors
The Registry has authorised a wide network of independent professional surveyors world-wide with competitive fees. The authorised surveyors will conduct surveys on Mongolian ships for issuance of statutory certificates by the Registry. The owner should notify the Registrar of his ship's itinerary and the most convenient port for the survey to be carried out. The Registrar will make the necessary arrangements and notify the owner of the fees.
B. Authorised Classification Societies
In addition to the authorised surveyors, Mongolia Ship Registry recognises the following classification societies for the survey and issue of certificates to Mongolian ships. Owners requiring any of the following societies to survey their ships are advised to seek prior authorisation from the Registrar. Authorisation is considered on a case by case basis.

- China Classification Society (CCS)
- China Corporation Register of Shipping (CR)
- Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
- Germanischer Lloyd (GL)
- Hellenic Register of Shipping (HRS)
- Inspecion Y Classificacion Maritima S de R.L. (INCLAMAR)
- International Register of Shipping (IS)
- International Ship Classification (ISClass)
- Korean Register of Shipping (KRS)
- Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRS)
- Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK)
- Polish Register of Shipping (PRS)
